In our Eat Yourself Gorgeous series I will be providing you with weekly skin loving recipes or "Beauty Foods" that will allow you to create healthy skin from the inside out. The DorNee' products provide nourishment for the entire outer body however, we must take care of our insides, with a healthy diet and exercise. I will start off slow and work up to more difficult recipes. Let's get Gorgeous!

Fruited Cottage Cheese

8 oz low-fat cottage cheese
1/2 cup fresh pineapple 
1 tbs wheat germ
1 10 oz melon (peeled)
1 tbs granola
1 tbs yeast flakes

Place the cottage cheese in a bowl. Add the pineapple and beat well for a few minutes with a mixer. Add the yeast flakes, wheat germ and granola, stir well until mixture is combined. Chop the melon in small pieces then add to top of mixture. Chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes. Spoon into bowls and enjoy this light breakfast or afternoon snack.

*This is a power snack for the skin. Everything you eat affects your appearance. Wheat germ contains vitamins E, B1, B2, and folic acid as well as magnesium, iron, and zinc. Wheat germ is also helpful in preventing the body's aging process. Yogurt contains active bacteria which helps the digestive system. Fresh pineapple helps break down protein. It is diuretic, sudorific and cleanses the skin.
Granola is a good source of fiber and vitamins. Yeast flakes is a source of protein and vitamins, also low in fat and sodium

Restful Nights

DorNee' Family, 
What does it take to get you to have a good night sleep? For some it takes soft music playing, others the sound of water, birds chirping and so on. Some people don't have a clue, they just want a good night sleep. 

For me I need a peaceful mind. Peace in knowing that if I have a restful night, I will be more focused the next day, which allows for creativity and the ability to tackle the hectic schedule I have with a positive outlook. I like to have a clear mind and good thoughts before I get in bed. Sometimes it is tough with the challenges of life, but a restful night will allow me to be ready for all things that tomorrow will bring. I like to meditate or recite The Prayer of Jabez before bed.

For those of you that are need of a restful night sleep, make sure before you get into bed you:

1. Don't carry any worries of the day in bed with you.
2. Pray for a peaceful mind with healthy thoughts.
3. Be thankful for all things good, bad or indifferent.
4. Realize your greatness.
5. Know that if you have faith, there is no need to fear.
6. Believe that tomorrow will be better than today.

Have a restful night, good dreams for a brighter tomorrow.
